Virginia’s most innovative and exciting fan event, the annual Haunted Screams Expo horror convention kicks off the Halloween season this September in Hampton.
Haunted Screams Expo brings together celebrities and creators of many of your favorite movies and TV shows with dozens of talented artists and exhibitors presenting unique works and collectibles celebrating fandom in a safe, family-friendly environment where fans can meet their heroes and mingle with likeminded new friends. It is also where the world’s most famous monsters come to life.
Previous celebrity guests include the actors who portrayed Michael Myers from the Halloween movies, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Art the Clown from the Terrifier films, Chucky, Pinhead, and many more genre icons, who fans can meet and purchase autographs from and pictures with at the event.
Attendees at Haunted Screams Expo will also experience exclusive Q&A panel discussions, all ages costume contests, a special makeup FX contest, a monster movie car show featuring screen-used vehicles and replicas, an on-site haunted house, dozens of talented and unique vendors/artists, and much much more!
The two-day horror and Halloween-themed fan convention, which began in 2019, is hosted by Laitram Tsol.

WHO IS LAITRAM TSOL?
Laitram Tsol is not your average demon. True, he is a demon, but one that isn’t evil enough to have yet earned his horns.
Coming from the deepest, hottest depths of Hell, Laitram leaves there yearly to come party with humans to celebrate his favorite holiday; Halloween. His love of all things horror, and the trappings that go along with it, makes it impossible for Laitram to give up this last vestige of his life. And until he does so, those horns just aren’t going to pop through yet.
While demons are supernatural beings, typically they’re associated with evil or historically prevalent in literature, fiction, mythology, and folklore. But Laitram’s forte is horror in all its forms: comics, video games, movies, costumes, and make-up. And with his beguiling lilting accent, it’s no wonder Laitram is a popular hellion. Don’t tell him, but we wonder if he’s closer to being a fallen angel than he is a demon after all!
